“For me, Georg is an incredibly important part of this congregation because, as a Jewish member of this congregation, he is one of those people who incredibly supports interreligious dialogue, is involved in dialogue despite his age or perhaps because of that he is open to other religions , what is critical is to participate in the discussions here in the community. So he’s just a very, very lively and committed member. For me personally, it is also the case that my Jewish side of the family is also from Hamburg and that gives me a personal connection with Georg. There is just one part that connects us. It belongs in my family memory. "
