This English website “Two Lifes in Uncertain Times” is essentially the English translation of the German website “Zwei Seiten der Geschichte - Erinnern für eine gemeinsame Zukunft” (www.zweiseitendergeschichte.de).

The aim of the project is to use the website to make a lasting contribution to intercultural understanding, to combat racism and to promote peaceful coexistence between people of different religions and ethnic backgrounds. The non-profit organization Brücken Bauen e. V. carries out this contemporary witness project on a non-commercial basis.
